All bowlers at some time need a bag to carry their bowls. A good bag is necessary to carry you accessories and bowls you have just taken up lawn bowls. All our bags are tough, well made and made for easy of use. It is a great way to move you bowls either from the dressing room or an away match. Some bags are only for 2 bowls and some kit others are made to carry 4 bowls and more kit. Some have shoulder straps and others with wheels.
Carry Your Equipment.
Being able to carry your equipment is a necessary part of the game and our bags will fill that requirement. Some experienced players have more than one set of bowls and it would be trying to carry then without a good bad.It all depends on your needs what size of bag you need. A larger bag would be needed.if you wanted to carry jackets, trousers, gloves, grippo and some other accessories while a small bag would be suitable for a few items. Some senior bowlers prefer bags with wheels to make life easier as the wheels will take the weight and not you shoulders. If you have just started playing then you will have begun to notice that bowls are heavy and awkward to carry about and can each weigh as much as 1.55 kg .So 4 times that is a considerable weight. If you find that you have back problems or have difficulty lifting bags with 4 bowls and kit then a trolley bag could be your answer. What Type Of Bag is Best For Me.
Bowls are now made from a hard plastic called melamine. It is tough and heavy so a good bag is needed. Lets have a look at some of the options.Hand Held Or Shoulder Bags. A new start could get away with just a bowls carry sling which will hold 4 bowls and can be used to carry from the locker room to to the green but will only hold the bowls and no kit. The bags Mini or midi are a better option if you need to carry kit, accessories, jackets and are looking for something more substantial are a good solution if you also intend to carry shoes and accessories. The maxi bag which has 2 decks and will hold most of what you need for home and away matches.This bad can hold bowls, compartment for shoes and all you kit.
If you feel it is a struggle to carry load on you arms or shoulders then it may be best for you to choose a trolley.
